Getting Ready

Hello there! Jake and I are all packed and finishing some last minute things before hopping on a plane on Tuesday. We will be on an 8 hour flight to Amsterdam, followed by a 10 hour flight to Tanzania. We will stay the night in Dar, then take an 8 hour bus ride to Iringa where we will spend the next five weeks! We are very anxious and excited. 

It was tough to pack for five weeks, we rely on so much here and need to keep reminding ourselves that we really don't need that much and to simplify. We are planning on leaving much of what we take to Iringa there when we return. 

Our phones will be turned off starting tomorrow, so email will be the best way to reach either of us. 

I hope to be able to update this often, but I am not positive how the Internet connection will be.
